Sorry, I've Been Busy Growing Up!!

Well, I know that it has been awhile since my last entry, and I apologize. Please keep in mind that I rely heavily upon Mommy to help me with this blog, and well, she's been a little busy since school started. But not as busy as I have been. Mommy and Daddy keep telling Brother that he better watch out; I'll be catching up to him soon. Well, I'm getting closer and closer. Even though Brother goes to school now, he still finds plenty of time to become my personal jungle gym. I climb all over him, sit on him, stand on him, lay on him and jump on him. Lately I've been pretending that his shirt is a leash and I take him for walks....just pulling him around, all over the place. Sometimes, we bonk heads and it hurts a little, but we just keep playing anyway.

Some new things that I am learning these days:

Today, I figured out how to climb on the couch. Mommy isn't thrilled about that. I don't know how to get myself down and she freaks out every time I just try to step off. She has caught me every time, but keeps warning me that I'm going to hurt myself or something. By the end of the day she started scolding me for standing on the couch. I wasn't really sure what to think of that. She's never really done that to me before. (But I know it isn't fun from Parker's expression when he's in timeout). Mommy says that I test her like she's never been tested before. Let's see if she passes, LOL.

I've learned that if I push on the baby gate hard enough, it will crash down. I don't do it too much, but I'm thinking about doing it more. I love climbing the stairs on the other side. Daddy loves watching me climb the stairs. He says that he'll have to build me a climbing wall someday...he says I have a knack for it. Except, I don't know how to come down yet. I try to just step down like everyone else, but it isn't working for me just yet. Mommy and Daddy always catch me. I don't know what the big deal is. I can do it just like they can....I'm not afraid. (Mommy says that's my problem).

I still don't talk very much, well at least not your language. I do talk all the time, but not many people can understand me. I do, however, say 'night-night' and wave when Mommy and Daddy put me to bed. Once in awhile I say Da-da and Ma-ma. I really practice my Ma-ma today. She was home for most the day, so it was nice to see so much of her....I felt like I should talk to her.

I love eating what Brother eats. This morning mommy fixed us eggs, toast and apple slices. Mmmm, I loved the apples. But my favorite part is when Mommy puts my highchair right nexto to brother at the table so we can eat together.

Oh, I pretty much sleep through the night now. Once in a while I get a little chilly and wake up, but I snuggle right back into my blanket and I'm good to go. Oh, I've noticed Mommy has been keeping my pacifier away a lot more. In fact, I don't EVER see it during the day and she's been giving me a bear to sleep with at night instead of my binky. Only if I wake up scared in the middle of the night, do I see my faithful green buddy. Mommy will give it to me then, but I actually haven't needed it for about 5 nights now.

I love walking everywhere, and I hate being held or strapped into something. I just like to do things by myself. Except for my carseat....I don't mind being in that. I still face backwards, and I like that because I can see Brother really good and he plays with me in the car ALL THE TIME. He makes traveling fun. Yep, I love that guy!

Well, that's all for now. Sorry I've been away so long, but I hope you understand.
